  2. Assuming this is in the US (or another overly-letigious country), I’d guess it’s very necessary.

    Stupid, but necessary.

    While in Colorado, one of my co-workers pointed out a sign in the mountains that said, “During flash flooding, go to higher ground.”

  3. It was actually in Trinidad, which surprised me. I wouldn’t have expected to see such a sign where it was pretty obvious not to stick your hands. But, I guess such things extend well beyond the U.S.
